There are some experiences in which a “do-over” is not possible. One of these is the sale of a senior’s home. It is a significant life step to sell one’s home after decades of living there, raising a family, and creating memories. Whether the senior’s home sale is a smooth and supported process, or whether it is stressful and wearisome, this experience cannot be redone once it is complete. Years ago, I learned this first-hand through the sale of my 82-year old grandfather’s home.
