A Favorite Networking Event for Puget Sound Elder Care Providers since 2006
SASH Coffee Time is a networking event created for the elder care community of the Puget Sound. It’s an opportunity to connect with other professionals who serve seniors: to collaborate, learn about each other’s services, and to share resources and referrals.
Coffee Time was created in 2006 by Rebecca Bomann of SASH Services. Since then, we have hosted over 1,200 Coffee Times in many locations, providing a consistent opportunity every single month for elder care providers to connect.
What’s special about Coffee Time? There’s no cost to attend, ever. We want everyone who serves seniors to be able to attend. There’s no RSVP, no membership fees, no formal sign ups. Elder care providers come when they can, and everyone’s welcome.
Who attends Coffee Time? Directors of assisted living communities, placement advisors, home care providers, elder lawyers, geriatric social workers, financial planners, adult family home owners, downsizers, medical providers, and dozens more.
At Coffee Time, there’s no guest speakers. Everyone who attends has an opportunity to introduce themselves and share for 3 – 4 minutes. Often there are questions and discussions about relevant topics and important resources. Come spotlight your service!
Some of the magic of Coffee Time: Newcomers to the elder care industry build a supportive network! Professionals work together to serve a senior client. Referrals are made. People find jobs. Most of all, elder care professionals support and help each other!
How to attend SASH Coffee Time? Take a look at our schedule and locations below! You can attend the Coffee Time closest to you, and two or three other locations as well! Each month there are caring, incredible professionals to connect with.
What to bring to Coffee Time? Your wonderful self, as well as your business cards, and any brochures or flyers that explain your service to seniors and their families. We’ll provide fresh coffee, pastries / refreshments, and a place to network!
